7:30am, August 31. Strapped a very compact painting kit to my rear bike rack and off I went up the river. First time I've done an open air painting so early in the day. Gorgeous time of day, but the light changes very quickly!

This was the view looking upriver about the time I finished painting - pretty colours! Next time perhaps I'll leave a bit later and paint this direction.
Another new beginning of a stitched canvas pinned to the wall.
